Cold Clock

A year ago [December 5th], I got cold clocked by a gang of meatheads on the corner of Smith and Butler across the street from a nefarious Brooklyn bar dubbed ANGRY WADE'S. I remember there being snow on the ground because of how RED the contrast got on the white as carnage spewed liberally from my face. My best friend would nearly get the same treatment only the cops showed up. They pulled two burly men from the bar on ambulance gurneys. One was missing teeth. The other had glass in his head.

A few days later, my best friend's wife would bring their first born, Ian Edward, into this world. Come Saturday, the spry toddler turns numero uno!
