What's not to love?

My pal/writer/performer, Jonathan Ames, is shooting his Showtime pilot [tentatively titled] WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? next week, based on his semi-autobio stories. Since he's the writer, star, and co-producer of the show, he hired me to illustrate a mock article that gets printed in his mock local newspaper [i.e. NY Press]. Well, not so mock since the article is based on a true event that occurred with his mother when he hit puberty at the late age of 16! Fans of Ames' oeuvre will recognize this sordid tale...
