Walt Parrish invited me to contribute to his project, "Nine Square Inches," wherein a selected artist draws something within a 3" x 3" box: http://www.ninesquareinches.com/ and I drew The Thing, my favorite Marvel Comics character. I drew two dramatic Things; one iteration from his very first appearance in The Fantastic Four #1, and a more modern take when his molten lava monster look evolved into a more rocky exterior. I gave Walt the rocky version because it was more dynamic.
