Bruce Bennett, writer for the Wall Street Journal, reported on "Blame it on New York," a comix event curated and moderated by Danny Fingeroth at Soho Gallery of Digital Art.

"Dean Haspiel's self-narrated black-and-white depiction of an episode of mutual voyeurism in Little Italy employed accompanying graphic language well outside the boundaries of a family newspaper.

"People are having sex all the time in New York," Mr. Haspiel later said. "I remember once I saw a couple having sex through my window. My friend said 'Stop looking' and I said, 'Why? I pay rent, it's my window!'"
