East Hampton

I went to East Hampton early Sunday morning to visit my father with my mother. She drove her big red truck and we listened to Max Romeo. We dropped off our stuff on the acre of land my father calls home and changed into bathing suits. We all drove to Maidstone bay and skipped stones [where I learned to swim and ride a bike], and watched fishing boats by the jetty. Later, we ate late lunch and fed seagulls at Gosman's Dock in Montauk. A raccoon pillaged garbage for food near the Lighthouse and we sat on a swing. I drew SBX a postcard of the backyard shack and we ate pizza. Monday morning, My father cooked me french toast and bacon and then I dipped my toes in the Atlantic ocean with mom. The last time I spent 24 consecutive hours with my parents, I was 16-years old.
